In 1984, ADA launched the first low price offer for vehicle rental. ADA are now established everywhere in France, close to their clients, enabling to provide the best vehicle rental service. Their offer cover passenger and commercial cars, but also bikes, scooters, motorcycles (under the trade mark Holiday Bikes), and self storage service (under the trade mark ADABOX)

2010 Highlights
- The confirmation that the proximity vehicle rental market (historical heart of ADA’s market position) is the market segment for vehicle rental that is deriving the greatest benefit from substantial sustained structural growth.
- The size of the ADA network has been maintained in spite of the recent closure of the airport sites (Nice, Marseille...), in order to re-centre our activity on the proximity vehicle rental market.
- The increased in market share by the ADA brand whose growth has surpassed the market performance 2 fold.
- The confirmation that the franchiser is capable of bringing in supplementary revenue to the franchisees: plus 15% in turnover for the brand as a result of large corporate clients being direct contacted by the franchiser, in addition to the benefits derived from the internet site.
- The deployment of additional services offered in our agencies (insurance reimbursement of the deductible, door-to-door delivery of the rented vehicle...).
- The creation of an insurance brokerage activity “ADA COURTAGE” (ADA INSURANCE BROKERAGE).
2011 Outlook
Within the positive context of an upbeat market that has recovered its vigour in 2011, ADA intends to continue to build on their main attributes in the vehicle rental market (N°1 proximity car renter, N°1 renter of utility vehicles, N°1 low-cost vehicle renter) so as to uphold their leadership position, maintain the growth in the Brand’s turnover in addition to that of the franchises, while ever still increasing their operating income.
Moreover, public recognition of the quality of the ADA brand’s customer service, was awarded us by our customers on the basis of the TBWA/Opinion Way poll of December 2010 (92% of our clients would recommend ADA) and thus encourages ADA to go even further in 2011 by furnishing greater daily efforts in the quality of customer service while maintaining our lowest possible price policy.
Finally our efforts to innovate on customer services, at the heart of our brand’s strategy, shall be doubled in 2011.
